I had a mixed experience at Hotel Sonne. The rooms were quite small with carpeted floors, which may not be suitable for those with allergies. The early sunrise made the room bright quite early in the morning during the summer. However, the service was very nice and helpful, especially with complimentary parking for my motorcycle. The hotel's location in Rostock was convenient, close to the town center, Hauptbahnhof, Rathaus, and the market square.

The service was accommodating, waited for us and checked us in with a nice touch of a bottle of water, and even offered free parking for my motorcycle after 5 pm. The location, while good, should be avoided when it's hot, and the staff presence was lacking at times. The dining experience featured a nice airy room with a great selection of rolls, cereal, coffee, juice, and notably mini croissants every day alongside mini donuts and mini boule de berlins. The facilities provided were satisfactory.
